The Clara Rosa Perez Impact Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young girls through education, mentorship, and activities designed to enhance their lives and improve their quality of life.

Focused on Los Patos, Barahona, and surrounding areas in the Dominican Republic, where resources are limited and education opportunities are scarce, we aim to expose girls to diverse life experiences that will spark their talents, foster creativity, and broaden their horizons.

Writing Contest 2025

I poured my heart into continuing the work I’ve started in the Dominican Republic. We brought to life Pequeños Cuentos, a writing contest created just for the children. We invited them to dream, to imagine, and to write short stories in their own words. The result? Pure magic.

From dozens of submissions, we selected three winners who each received a monetary prize, and then I gathered all of their incredible stories into a small collection. You can purchase here.

In May of 2025, we celebrated the winners with a day full of joy, games, food, laughter, and community.

Now, I’m thrilled to share Pequeños Cuentos with you. All proceeds will go toward funding future events and opportunities for these young storytellers. As always, none of this would have been possible without the unwavering love and support of my family and friends. Thank you for believing in this mission with me.

Painting class 2024

This year, we proudly kicked off our first initiative by organizing a painting class for over 30 girls. Each one of them won over our hearts as we connected through art, self-expression, and meaningful conversations about their hopes and dreams. Yanela led a powerful discussion on the importance of being a safe space for one another and always being someone your friends can trust.

To support their creative journey, we provided them with gifts, journals, and art materials, empowering them to express themselves freely and continue dreaming big. Many of the girls shared their love for art but had never had the opportunity to explore their creativity due to a lack of resources.
